Art, Poetry, and Short Story Contests

Each year, in conjunction with the San Pedro Branch Library, the SPYC holds an art exhibition and poetry and short story contests. Hundreds of entries are received for each category from elementary, middle, and high school students. Recognition ceremonies for students and guests are held for each event. Artistic entries are displayed throughout the library and literary works are available for review by library guests for a period after the conclusion of the events.
